However, participation as shinpan will focus more on senior kenshi (4th dan and above) to improve their skills and evaluate them as prospective shinpan for the U.S.National Championships. Attendees may also be able to participate in practice shiai-keiko and participate in the godokeiko on Saturday and Sunday. Junior Kenshi are also encouraged to attend as observers and act as shiai-sha (practice shiai participants). Folks its that time again to register for the Annual enrollment of the AUSKF/SWKIF
All USA kendo practitioners must register with the AUSKF in order to continue practice. Not only is this membership needed to test, and gain a recognized rank in kendo on an international level. The funds are used pay for our national insurance program, and help fund large events like examinations, tournaments and seminars.
