 Shin Sou Fu Kan Kendo Dojo has been invited to perform a Kendo Demo at the recently opened Sushi Hana restaurant and Bar. Please let me know by 4/14/16 if you are able to attend so we can give the owner a headcount for the event.
This goes without saying but please remember you will be representing the dojo at these events. You are expected to be on time, and on your best behavior, just as you are in practice. All attendees are expected to come with cleaned uniforms, and disinfected equipment since food will be served at the event. the last thing the patrons would want is to smell us while they eat and drink. Parking can be found in the rear of the restaurant. Lastly please note, the demonstration will be performed on a concrete sidewalk, so please be careful of your footwork. Take it easy when performing fumikomi-ashi and any ashi-sabaki. currently we plan on going barefoot, however if the concrete is too rough please bring athletic foot-ware.
