Oklahoma Sword Arts Seminar SEPT 17th

September 17th 2016, Oklahoma city will be hosting the first ever, Oklahoma Japanese Swords arts seminar, participants will get to try out various Japanese Sword, and Swor centered Martial arts.

Arts represented:
- Kendo "Way of the sword"
(a standardized style of contact fencing with a bamboo sword called shinai) 

- Iaido "Way of mental preparedness and immediate reaction" 
("Muso Jikiden Eishin ryu" a traditional, non-contact style of swordsmanship focusing on drawing and cutting with a real swords)

- Jodo "Way of the short staff"
(traditional style of staff fighting focused on defense against swords)
